State board fees pass through at cost. Nothing on this page sits behind a form.
We publish our prices.
Three ways to work with us, and the number for each one. What a state board charges comes on top, at cost.
Licensing is a budget question before it’s a service question. You should be able to plan a year of applications, or a roster of them, without booking a call to find out what it costs.
So here it is. Our fee is for our work: preparing the application, filing it, and dealing with the board. The board’s fee belongs to the board, and we pass it through at cost with no markup. Three real states further down show what that second number looks like.
Growing NP: $350 per state application.
This is the one for an NP adding a state. You tell us the state, we do the application end to end, and you keep seeing patients while it moves.
Every application includes:
- Your documents and license history collected once, in our secure portal
- The application prepared and checked against that state’s requirements
- Verifications chased down: Nursys, every state you’ve held a license in, your program, and your certifier
- Pre-filled fingerprint cards shipped, appointments coordinated, and notarizations completed electronically in your portal
- Submission, then the follow-up and back-and-forth with the board
- Status you can see in your portal instead of asking for it
$350 per state application. State board fees are billed at cost on top of that. DEA registrations, state controlled substance registrations, and the second application some states require are priced in your order, so you see the whole number before you pay.
Start your orderBusy NP: $149 a month.
This is the one for an NP who already holds licenses and would rather stop tracking them. Busy NP is our license-management membership: our team keeps the calendar and works each renewal as it comes due.
Every membership includes:
- RN and NP license renewals prepared, submitted, and tracked in every state you hold one
- DEA and state controlled substance registration dates monitored beside your licenses
- Your board certification window tracked with the CE hours it takes
- CE certificates stored and counted against each state’s requirements
- Collaborative practice documents kept current and findable
- Your client portal and our licensing team, for as long as you’re a member
$149 a month for our work. Government, board, DEA, and certification fees are never rolled in; they pass through separately, so you always see what a state actually charges.
Complete an initial licensing project with us and your first six months of Busy NP are free. After that it’s $149 a month.

This is the one for a company licensing a roster. You bring the providers and the states you’re opening, and we run licensing as an operations function you don’t have to staff. The whole picture is on our page for telehealth companies.
Every account includes:
- A dedicated U.S. client success manager with one-business-day response
- Provider onboarding and document collection, done once per provider
- Every application prepared, checked, and submitted for you
- Board follow-up and communication handled for you
- Status visibility across every provider and state
- Renewals, DEA, and CSR registrations managed as you grow
Starting at $350 per application. State board fees billed at cost. Volume pricing for larger rosters, scoped on your demo call.

What you pay beyond our fee.
Every state charges its own application and licensure fees, and some add a background check or a controlled substance registration. Those fees belong to the board. We pass them through at the amount the state charges, with no markup, and you see the estimate before anything is filed.
They are not uniform. The three states here come from our own state licensing guides, and the distance between them is why we quote board fees state by state instead of folding them into one price.

$110 for APRN licensure by endorsement and $36 for FDLE and FBI fingerprint processing. Without a compact multistate RN license, the RN endorsement adds $110 and the total is $256. Livescan vendors charge their own service fee on top. Full breakdown in our Florida licensing guide.

$143 for the RN license and first registration, plus $85 for the NP certificate and first registration. Each additional specialty certificate is another $85, and NYSED lists no fingerprint step for nurses. Full breakdown in our New York licensing guide.

$275 for the RN license by reciprocity, $150 for APRN authorization, and $300 for the Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration you need before you can prescribe. Add $30 per license verification, charged for every license you already hold. There is no compact shortcut here. Full breakdown in our Massachusetts licensing guide.

Questions about what this costs.
No, and we don’t mark them up. Every state bills its own application and licensure fees, and those pass through to you at exactly what the state charges. Our fee covers our work.
Tell us your states and you’ll see an estimate of their board fees beside our fee, before anything is filed. The section above shows three states so you can see how far apart they run.
One state application, end to end. We collect what’s needed once, prepare the application against that state’s requirements, chase the verifications, ship pre-filled fingerprint cards and coordinate the appointment, complete notarizations electronically, submit the file, and handle the board’s follow-up questions.
It doesn’t cover what the state charges. Some states also need more than one application, an RN license alongside the APRN for example, and your order prices each application on its own so nothing is bundled out of sight.
It starts at $350 per application, and larger rosters are priced on the demo call. What moves the number is the mix: how many providers, how many states, and what each provider already holds.
We don’t publish a volume table because that mix is different at every company. Board fees stay at cost either way. Bring the roster to a demo and you’ll leave with a state-by-state plan and a quote, whether or not you hire us.
$149 a month for our management work. Government, board, DEA, and certification fees are never rolled in; they pass through separately.
Complete an initial licensing project with us and your first six months are free, then it’s $149 a month. Signing up runs through our team, so your setup call is where we go through your license list and open your portal. Everything the membership covers is on the Busy NP page.
Adding a state is Growing NP, at $350 per state application. Keeping the licenses you already hold current is Busy NP, at $149 a month. Licensing a roster of providers is Telehealth Teams, and that one starts with a demo.
The first two fit together on purpose: finish a licensing project with us and the first six months of Busy NP are free. If you’re still weighing it, start an order and we’ll show you what your states require before you pay for anything.
