Paid to the Washington State Board of Nursing and the Department of Health, non-refundable. Prescriptive authority is free to add, which is unusual and worth knowing. Fingerprinting, when the board orders it, runs through IdentoGO or a local law-enforcement agency at a cost Washington doesn’t publish, on top of the $33 federal database fee. The multistate route holds while your primary residence stays in your home compact state; an NP relocating to Washington licenses there as their new home state, which is the $301 or $366 path, depending on which Washington RN license you take. Renewal is $130 every two years. One thing to raise with us early: the board’s older rule text and its current licensing page differ on whether multistate holders still need a Washington RN license, and we settle which applies to you before anything gets filed.
