INTRODUCTION
NP Licensing LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you engage our services, including the processing of licensing applications, renewals, and other related services (the "Services"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
NP Licensing LLC may collect the following categories of information:
- Details you enter into account applications and other forms, such as your name, mailing address, and email. Submitted forms also include your mobile-phone number when requested.
- Information related to your interactions and transactions with NP Licensing LLC, its affiliates, and associated service providers.
- Data concerning your internet connection, the devices you use to access our services, and how you use those services.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store and to send back on later visits. Some are discarded as soon as you close your browser. Others are kept for a set period so that a returning visit can be recognized, which for our record of the campaign that referred you is up to 365 days. We use cookies, browser storage, and the small tracking images sometimes called pixels to operate the Services, to understand how they are used, and to measure which of our campaigns bring people to us.
Analytics and advertising providers: we use analytics services, including PostHog, and advertising services, including Google, whose practices are described at google.com/policies/privacy. Some pages also load scheduling and calculator tools built by other companies. These providers set their own cookies when their tools load and are governed by their own privacy policies. Our analytics include a recording of on-page activity such as clicks and scrolling; text entered into form fields is masked and is not captured.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and every major browser explains how to do so in its help pages. If you do, the Services will still work, but features supplied by other companies may not load correctly, and we will no longer be able to recognize that a returning visit began with an earlier campaign.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To Provide Services: We use your information to process and manage your licensing applications, renewals, and other related services.
- To Process Payments: Your financial information is used to charge fees associated with our services.
- To Communicate with You: We use your contact information to communicate important updates, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
- To Ensure Compliance: We may use your information to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- To Protect Our Interests: Information may be used to protect our rights and property, including for fraud prevention and enforcement of our legal agreements.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may share your information in the following situations:
- With Your Consent: We may disclose your personal information for any purpose with your consent.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with service providers who assist with the licensing process, including credentialing organizations, background check services, and payment processors.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information as required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile-phone number or your text-messaging consent to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes, ever. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that help us operate the Services and deliver the messages you requested, and those providers may not use it for their own marketing.
SMS / TEXT MESSAGING
If you provide your mobile-phone number and expressly opt in, NP Licensing LLC may send you customer care text messages about your inquiry, including quote details, appointment scheduling and reminders, and replies to your questions. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
How you opt in: by checking the optional SMS consent checkbox on one of our website forms. The checkbox appears on the contact details step of the form on our contact page, on the same form embedded on our homepage, telehealth page, and state licensing guide pages, and on the organization demo form. Checking the box is never required to submit a form or to work with us.
- Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and the updates you request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further text messages. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive text messages is specific to NP Licensing LLC and is never sold, shared, or transferred to another company, including our affiliates. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, which stops all further marketing and service text messages from us.
DATA SECURITY
We use a combination of technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
